How it works
It starts from a source
Paste a YouTube link, an article, a podcast or your own notes. Tugan reads the source first, so the content says what you actually said instead of what a blank prompt guesses.
It writes for each channel
One source becomes a blog post, a newsletter, an X thread, LinkedIn posts, emails or ads, each in the format that channel rewards.
You stay the editor
Every output is a draft you can change, regenerate or throw away. The goal is to save you the blank page, not to publish on your behalf.

I wrote the first line of Tugan.ai on December 22, 2022, about three weeks after ChatGPT came out. The repository is still called GPT-webapp. Like a lot of people that winter, I thought a good prompt was a product. It is not.
What I learned, slowly, is that AI writes well when it has something real to work from: a video you recorded, an article you wrote, a podcast where you said something true. That is why Tugan starts from a source instead of a blank prompt, and why I care more about distribution than about word count.
I build alone, I self-host most of my stack, and I spend as much time as I can on a sailboat, where I wire my own electronics. The rule on board is the rule for the company: nothing essential should depend on something I do not control.
